The leather blazer is a trend you should prepare to heavily see across the high street, in fashion magazines and on your favourite bloggers’ Instagram pages and YouTube videos. I myself cannot get enough of the leather blazer look and have been doing some second hand shopping online lately for mine. So in today’s post I thought I would share my latest YouTube styling video – centered around the leather blazer (obvs) as well as just sharing my favourite places to thrift a leather blazer and save money as well as some of the best places on the high street to buy a real or faux leather blazer – wow that was a mouthful wasn’t it!

My Thrifting Tips For Shopping Second Hand Online
- Places to look include eBay, Depop, ASOS Marketplace, local charity shops, thrift stores and your Mum or Dad’s attic!
- If there are no images of the item being worn, don’t be afraid to ask the seller to send you some or add to the listing.
- CHECK THE SIZING! This is an important one, I often find that vintage clothes sizes actually come up smaller so I size up and always check the listed measurements. Again if there aren’t any then ask!
- Be specific with your search term and then play around with it, as not everyone will list a leather blazer as a leather blazer it may be listed as a jacket, so be creative with your second hand search terms.
- Check the returns policy, as some sellers don’t accept returns on these sites and that may affect your purchase decision incase it doesn’t fit but you can’t send it back! It took me 3 goes to get the perfect leather blazer so luckily I could return the first two that didn’t fit, bear in mind you may have to stump up the return postage though!
- Always check the seller rating and look out for any bad reviews etc.
